Reason 1: They Have a Google Business Profile and You Do Not (Or Yours Is Incomplete)

The businesses that appear in the map pack at the top of Google results have a fully completed, actively maintained Google Business Profile. Businesses with an incomplete profile or no profile at all are invisible for local searches.

Google uses reviews as a trust and ranking signal. More reviews means a higher ranking in local search and a higher conversion rate when potential customers find you.
